About
I hope my music and story inspires you.
On March 24, 1980, when I was eighteen months old, I fell into our family washing machine that was full of hot water. I was scalded on over 60% of my body and also suffered a brain injury that has stayed with me throughout my life. It seems that my young life started with a tragedy. The doctors at Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado didn’t expect me to make it through that first night. In fact, I was very close to death several times before I finally recovered. I was left with a very scarred upper body and some “disabilities.”
I know that I am here today because of the great power of Faith, Prayer and the Priesthood of God. I look back now and I can see the Lord’s hand at every turn in my life. I have been determined to use this “tragedy” to bless the lives of others. I have been blessed with the ability and love of singing. Singing has been my passion and my way to cope with the trials that I’ve faced. My “life song sings” with deep love and gratitude for life itself, and for my greatest Hero, our Savior Jesus Christ.
It is my greatest desire to be an inspiration to other people. I want you, when you hear my voice, to feel motivated to keep trying. I want you to believe, like I do, that regardless of how hard it gets, the important thing is this: It’s not how you fall, but how you get up! You need to “hold on” and push forward. Believe in your dreams. Believe that Jesus Christ is real and will be with you every step of the way. Your life can be a miracle… a great power for good. I’m going to “make it through the rain” and so can you, because “you’ll never walk alone.” — Luke Jones

Luke,
You are an inspiration to me and my family. I loved your CD and the way you connect to us through your passion behind the music. It reminds me of when the Jazz beat the Nuggets in over-time and I felt so excited. Thank you for being an example to us and keeping us always wanting more out of life.

Hi Luke. I am a friend of Tanna’s and purchased your CD. I REALLY love it! I can feel the tenderness through the music and have found great peace in the selections you have recorded. Thank you for sharing your great talent.
Luke,
I was truly inspired by your songs. I haven’t heard a voice as good as yours in many years. Keep up the great work. I definitely want a couple of your cd’s. Just in case you don’t remember who I am, I’m Terriane’s dad.
Your CD is the most beautiful thing I have heard in a VERY long time. I cried on every song the first time through. I was driving and finally had to pull over in a parking lot and I just sat there and listened. You are SO right, God DID give you a wonderful gift and I feel very lucky and honored to be able to hear it and to say that I know you. All the best to you Luke, and for all the doors that have been closed before, all those doors and windows have now opened wide for you, and THAT is the Most Wonderful thing of all. Your time is Now! FLY! For you have been given wings. To your success and a most blessed life. In Love and Light! Sharon Withers

luke i love your music and your voice is great and you have a great personality love you
Luke, I can’t stop listening to your CD! I am a total addict! I keep finding myself remembering highschool when you and I would stand in the 2 bathrooms on opposite sides of the commons area and sing little phrases back and forth to each other. Who would have known that my bathroom singing pal would become a super star? I really hope that you make more CD’s. I would buy them all and give them to all of my family and friends!
Luke,
I was 10 years old when you lived in my ward in Littleton, CO. I remember our ward fasting for you after the accident and the miracles that took place. I have thought of you many times and wondered about you my whole life. My mom saw your mom at the Denver temple and she gave her a copy of your CD. My mom brought it to Billings, MT with her last week when they came to visit. Thank you for making such a beautiful CD and for sharing your talents. My 8 year old daughter loves your CD and shares it with her friends as she tells your amazing story. I pray that the Lord’s choicest blessing will continue to be with you as they have been in the past. Tell your family hello from Kari Carwin Jorden.
Luke,
You recently sang at my grandmothers funeral. What a beautiful and moving experience for me. Your family was in my ward when you had your accident, I was in high school and remember how we fasted and prayed for you. You truly are a miracle! Thank you for lending your beautiful talent for my grandmothers service, everyone commented on how beautiful you sing. I am so glad and thankful I finally got to experience it, as I had heard how wonderful you are. You are a special gift.
Hi Luke.
Through your faith and strength of character you overcame adversity and reached your dream of inspiring others . You serve as a wonderful example of what can be. The quality in your voice cannot be taught. We know that you will continue on your journey and inspire many many more. Congratulations Luke. We love you.
Luke, you have a GIANT spirit! You were definitely one of our leaders in the pre-existence, and I feel priviledged to know you here on our earthly journey. Your cd touches me everytime I listen to it. Keep up the good work! Love, Criner Cabin
Hey Luke just wanted you to know I visited your site.and my wife diana is sitting here too. We are at the library as we do not have internet at home. Take care and talk to you soon…love, karlin and diana.
Luke, It has been many years since I have seen you. You need to know that you are in my heart and always will be. I think of you often,(and your family). When I saw and heard your CD, I was so surprised to see that you had grown up, You were still a 11 year old boy in my mind. I forgot to let you grow up in my mind. The neatest though. is your wonderful talent to be able to sing wonderful words that touch and stir the soul. That is indeed a gift from Heavenly Father. He has BLESSED you greatly in that capacity. Keep up the great work. You’ll be able to touch and soften the hearts of many, if they will just take the time to listen. Thanks for being so Valiant!!! You are the ROCK!!!
P.S. (How come you hid that lovely voice for so long?) Love you Forever, Wanda Barnes
Thank you so much for coming up at Girl’s Camp. I felt the Spirit that you invited there so strongly. I was wondering if you could come and share a talk with our youth at our ward fireside. If you can do that, I’d appreciate it very, just e-mail me if you could. Thank you so much, and please let me know what you can do.
Luke,

Luke,
We knew your family in Oklahoma. I can remember traveling to Salt Lake and stopping at your home to visit with your family. Your mother sent me a copy of your CD, she is so proud of your accomplishments. I have thoroughly enjoyed your music. I listen to it constantly, it brings a great peace to hear you sing and know of your trials and to feel your testimony. You have always had a beautiful attitude about life and your purpose here. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world.
May God bless you,
